Progress & Papers
Jillian recently started three part-time tutoring jobs and Kyle is still a full-time teacher whose day begins before 5am, but we've managed to keep sloooowly blogging about our trip. We're making our way across the virtual midwest right now with Kyle in the lead. As always you can click on our photos for the newest entries.
We were also excited to make our local paper, The Frederick News Post. You can see the online version here. Thanks to reporter Stephanie Mlot for contacting us! We also showed up in my old hometown newspaper a few days before. It was great to talk with Jack Brubaker and be part of his Scribbler column.
Our last important bit of news is that the bike made it back to us across the country via Amtrak. Kyle had to drive into DC to get it and it's still in many pieces, but we're glad to have it home.
