The Work Shower

Thanks to all my coworkers who threw us a wedding shower. Although, in the traditional of too busy teachers, we only had the 35 minute lunch period to hang out, I had a lot of fun. Plus, there were two extra amazing things. First, the cake.

If you think back to the story of our engagement, you'd know that Trivial Pursuit cards are important to us.The people I work with gave us an awesome Trivial Pursuit cake. It was awesome, and seriously hampered my efforts to lose weight for the wedding.

They also gave us a gift. Knowing we were looking to buy a camera, they gave us a bulk canister of film. We were a little bewildered - we had told everyone we were getting a digital camera. But we opened it top find money! Took us completely by surprise.

Afterward Jillian stayed to watch me teach a period.

Thank you everyone from school for an awesome shower. We enjoyed ourselves and appreciate your help and friendly words of wisdom!
